PHOTO METADATA GUIDE
How to remove photo metadata
before sharing.
Remove EXIF, XMP, camera, author and editing details from a photo before you share it, then download a clean full-size copy.
Upload the photo to the image metadata remover, choose metadata cleanup and download the clean copy. The new file keeps the image itself while removing EXIF, XMP, camera, author and editing details saved inside the original.

Metadata is separate from what you see
A photo can carry saved details that are not visible on the canvas: camera model, capture settings, author fields, editing software and other file records. Metadata cleanup removes those details without asking you to paint over the image.
Use the downloaded copy
Keep the original if you want it for your own archive. Share the newly downloaded file, because that is the copy with the saved details removed.
